MUSE #205

I have time for a quick post to share the card I was inspired to make by Michelle Lupton as the Muse this week.

Michelle Lupton Muse #205

I love this technique, pairing an embossing pen and stencil, and played around with it for a while over the week. This is my favorite panel made with a Tim Holtz stencil. The randomly embossed and colored sections reminded my of falling tears so I added an Altenew sentiment to make a sympathy card.

I know I will continue to play with a few more stencils and this technique!

We are heading out the door, and driving up to Anaheim, to watch the Canucks beat the Ducks.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Love how you have done this and been able to get some embossing on the leaves as well. Beautiful

  2. This is lovely, Jacquie. Beautifully done impression of Michelle's card. I like it a lot.

  3. Absolutely gorgeous Jacquie ! Love your take on Michelle's card and your colours combo is just stunning ! Love the colour of your card base, it pops up so well this wonderful watercolour panel ! Thanks for sharing and for inspiring.

  4. What a good idea, combining a stencil with embossing pen. So clever!

  5. Beautiful! So sorry I'm late commenting, but thanks for joining us at Muse this week!

  6. I've not tried this technique but after seeing your beautiful card I'm definitely going to, Jacquie.

It makes my day when you take time to comment - thank you!
